How Pour Pairings Came To Be

I've always enjoyed trying new wines and I have my favorites (New World Pinot Noir and Viognier) but it wasn't until Good Vibes Dinner Parties and I started our #ComeThru dinner parties with wine pairings that I became obsessed with the story behind a glass of wine, why the same grapes make a wine that tastes different depending on the region or producer and why some wines were better paired with certain foods than others. Plus, I wanted to figure out how all the "fancy wine people" could smell and taste so many different flavors from something that just smelled and tasted like wine to me 🤷🏽‍♀️

.

I decided I would take some classes to "officially" learn about "all things wine" so I started with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust Level 1 certification and I've been hooked ever since. I'm now at Level 3 and it is kicking my butt 🥴 but I'm having fun (plus tasting LOTS of wine). These classes and my obsession with wine are what led me to create the #PourPairings subscription boxes.

I was looking for a way to make wine fun, relatable, and informative for MYSELF and for my friends. They've help me "study" (aka drink the wines I'm tasting) and have learned some things about wine from me as I've learned them myself.

Each month, the Pour Pairings box is tailored to a specific wine or grape varietal. It contains high quality hand-picked snacks, gadgets, and other wine related items plus some fun facts and wine education delivered to your door every month.

Don't feel comfortable committing to a subscription? You can always purchase a single box to try it out!
