Ever have one of those days where you just don't feel like adulting? Well, we did and we made sure no adulting happened lol!
After seeing an IG story about Potomac Point Vineyard and Winery in Stafford, VA and their "Wine Tents", I told my friends I wanted to check it out and of course, they were all down to go. So we picked a day that worked for all of us (during a bottomless brunch haha), made a reservation online, and the rest was history!
Upon our arrival, we were walked to our tent which was already preheated and very cozy. We had pre-ordered a charcuterie board so the server brought out the board and took our wine order. With me being the wine lover I am, my friends let me order for them. We ordered four bottles first: Merlot, Rose, Viognier, and Cava, just to be able to have some variety and they were all delicious. After having a few glasses of wine, the photoshoots around the tent and vineyard began (a must).
The tent rental was for two hours and forty-five minutes which seemed to pass by way too fast. So because we weren't ready to leave, we ended up getting more wine and food at one of the fire-top tables in their courtyard.
The Bistro Burger was amazing and I'm still dreaming about it. If Stafford wasn't so far away (an hour and a half drive), I would've had three of them by now #nojudgement.
Overall, we had a great time and would love to visit again, especially when its warmer out and the grapes begin to grow.
